Normal Working Hours: (Explain unusual or rotating shift) 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (unless approved to work an alternative schedule as outlined in the agency's personnel handbook)

Regular and predictable attendance. "Supervises Initial Protective Unit to include initial investigations of abuse and neglect of children. Interprets and implements laws, rules, and regulations governing unit’s responsibilities. Establishes procedures for unit’s functioning, ensuring proper documentation and reporting. Assigns and monitors unit’s work. Assists Director in interviewing prospective unit employees and effectively recommends applicants for employment. Provides initial orientation to all new agency employees and monitors ongoing annual training needs for unit staff. Evaluates workers’ performance. Effectively recommends and applies disciplinary procedures. Serves as member of agency management team in developing, evaluating, and implementing administrative and personnel policies and procedures. Initiates discussion of potential loss and liability to the agency at management meetings. May facilitate Family Meetings for Initial Protective Unit. Supervises on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. SACWIS Super User: assists staff with troubleshooting SACWIS issues & implementation activities. Calculation & data entry of employee time cards on a weekly/bi-weekly basis." Works with other supervisors in the agency and other community organizations to resolve complaints and clarify policies. Serves on the county Domestic Violence Task Force and the county Child Fatality Review Board. Establishes and maintains cooperative working relationships. Prepares and delivers speeches. Arranges for and/or conducts training programs for providers. Attends meetings, conferences, and trainings. Advises Director of service needs, recommends priorities, plans, monitors, and evaluates programs. Prepares and completes required reports and correspondence. Provides casework services to clients/families in emergency situations. Is available for 24 hour duty as required. Testifies in court when necessary. Performs other duties as assigned.
