Early Warning Systems Specialist

Job Description:

Fairfield County Job and Family Services has an exciting opportunity for a Social Service Worker within the Protective Services Department to serve as the Early Warning System Specialist. This position will facilitate the Early Warning System (EWS) program within participating Fairfield County Schools. Responsibilities include: identifying youth who are triggered as a referral into the EWS based on attendance, behavior and/or curriculum/grades, creating individualized intervention plans for students falling below acceptable threshold levels, monitoring student progress, and making adjustments as needed.

Qualifications:

Candidates for this position must have completed their undergraduate coursework in social work or a human services related field. Starting salary for this position is $41,537.
