A waiver of Section 601.16 of the contract limited to the following:
- The agency may hire not more than ten (10) Caseworkers who are not eligible for the LSW, LISW, PC or PCC licensure;
- The agency will accept the following degrees only: Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Human Development & Family Studies, and Child & Family Studies;
- The parties agree that license-eligible candidates will be given preference in the hiring process;
- If not previously completed, candidates must complete all new hire CORE training requirements, as well as attend a three (3) hour social work ethics workshop;
- The current salary schedule and Caseworker Promotion language shall apply to these hires; and
- This agreement (waiver) will terminate once ten (10) Caseworker staff are hired.
