SUBJECT: Social Services Supervisor 1
The Knox County Department of Job and Family Services is seeking diligent and energetic candidates for a Social Services Supervisor 1 responsible for child protective case carrying units. This position is responsible for managing a team of dedicated caseworkers providing quality service delivery and safety assessment to the most vulnerable children and their families. This full-time, regular exempt position is in pay range 31. The starting salary is $18.85 per hour (negotiable depending upon applicant experience and credentials).
Master’s degree in Social Work or related master’s degree preferred, plus two years of related experience, preferably as a Social Services Worker 2; or completion of undergraduate major core coursework or two years technical training in behavior science, social science early childhood development, education, or related field. Experience in a public and/or child protective agency is preferred.
