NOTICE OF AVAILABLE POSITION
Position Title: Child Support Attorney
Open Date: June 8, 2017 Close Date: June 23, 2017
Description: This is a full-time position in our Child Support Enforcement Agency (CSEA) unit. This position prepares various legal documents (e.g. legal briefs, memorandums, and pleadings; initial child support orders, modifications, interstates and paternity cases); participates in and conducts litigation processes primarily related to child support cases.
Qualifications: Education/Experience:
- Admission to the Ohio Bar per Section 4705.01 of the Ohio Revised Code.
Other Requirements:
- Valid State of Ohio driver’s license and insurability under Union County’s policy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective use of technology.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment background investigation.
Unusual Working Conditions or Hazards:
- The employee has exposure to chemical compounds found in an office environment (e.g., toner, correction fluid, etc.); is exposed to possible injury due to unclean or unsanitary conditions; has contact with potentially violent or emotionally distraught persons; has exposure to hazardous driving conditions; has exposure to potentially vicious animals; has exposure to bed bugs, lice, scabies and other insects; works in or around crowds; ascends and/or descends ladders, stairs, or scaffolds; has to work irregular hours. Note: In accordance with the U.S. Department of Labor physical demands strength ratings, this is considered sedentary work.
Pay Rate: Starting pay $23.93 to $29.32/hour
