This position is responsible for a project titled “Performance Management of Comprehensive Case Management and Employment Program (CCMEP)”.  CCMEP is an initiative being developed and implemented by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) and provides employment, training and supportive services to help achieve self-sufficiency for eligible Ohio citizens. 

This position will utilize a project management approach to serve as performance management lead on the CCMEP steering committee and will develop, document, and execute performance management plan deliverables and measurements for the initial project and each subsequent level of project expansion required by criteria legislated in House Bill 64.  This project’s stakeholders are the Office of Workforce Development and the Office of Family Assistance within ODJFS and all of the County Departments of Job and Family Services within Ohio. 

Development of master plans for communication, quality planning and control, and training and technical assistance are all required responsibilities of this position.  The Project Manager will work in collaboration with the steering committee members and management staff to develop performance criteria, determine how performance will be assessed and evaluated, and to determine how outcomes will be measured.

This position will travel frequently, approximately 25% of the time, and will be expected to travel to a particular Ohio county location at least once a week.  The position will have direct and indirect contact with various levels of employees both within the State and counties and will communicate with caseworkers, supervisors and county administrators as well as various levels of State staff.

In addition to project management expertise, this position requires the ability to communicate effectively, skill in collaborating with team members, and a high level of organizational skill to manage all facets of the assigned project.
