Job Description:

Assists Deputy Director with administrative tasks; Relieves the Deputy Director of non-routine duties; Maintains a high level of discretion and confidentiality; Prepares and edits correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents; Schedules and records appointments for Deputy Director; Makes travel and lodging arrangements for Deputy Director; Organizes and maintains Deputy Director's files; Communicates decisions, assignments and directives to appropriate staff; Interprets and disseminates information, follows up to ensure compliance; Screens and directs calls, handles routine inquiries; Provides information regarding agency programs, procedures and operations; Provides reports and information to aid in decision making; Researches, gathers and analyzes information and statistics; Assists with special projects.

Qualifications:

Successful completion of an associate’s degree in business administration or related degree from an accredited college; 3-5 years of experience providing administrative support to a manager level position. Must demonstrate skill in typing, 50 wpm; demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills, strong organizational skills and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point).
