Vehicle Operator (UCATS Driver)
Job Description:
This is an unclassified, non-exempt, intermittent part-time position in our Union County Agency Transportation Service (UCATS) department. The primary duties of this position include:
- driving assigned vehicle to transport clients to receive assistance or services;
- assisting disabled passengers into and out of vehicles, or to and from homes, as needed;
- performing basic vehicle preventive maintenance;
- recording and preparing required logs and/or reports;
- attending all required training classes; and
- ensuring all safety policies are followed and related equipment is present and operational.
