Social Services Supervisor
A Children Services Supervisor is sought for the Ongoing Unit at the Knox County Department of Job & Family Services. This employee supervises the performance of Social Service Worker 2’s and support staff; acts as liaison between direct service staff and upper management; must be able to perform essential duties of the SSW2; provide children and families with supportive intervention toward achieving their case plan goals. This is a full-time, regular exempt position and starting salary is $19.27 per hour (negotiable depending on experience). Master’s degree in Social Work or related master’s degree preferred, plus two years’ related experience, preferably as an SSW 2; or completion of undergraduate major core coursework or two years technical training in behavioral science, social science or related field. Experience in a public and/or child protective agency is preferred. Must possess valid State of Ohio drivers' license at all times. Must possess auto insurance in accordance with ORC 4509.51 at all times.
