Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Pay Rate: $49,000 - $61,000
Description of Duties:
Supervises Eligibility Referral Specialists 1s and 2s who determine and re-determine eligibility for Public Assistance, including OWF, DA, related Medical programs, and Public Assistance Food Stamps. Also supervises Unit Support Workers assisting caseworkers in the unit. Schedules, monitors and evaluates work. Determines and evaluates each workers understanding/knowledge of each system and/or program and provides guidance for improvement. As needed, participates in the interview and selection of new employees for the unit. Provides ongoing training. Enters, retrieves and processes data to ensure unit productivity. Completes reports and maintains files. Assists in determining goals for the unit and monitors the unit progress. Attends staff meetings, conferences, workshops and training sessions to remain current in regulations, procedures and techniques. Conducts staff meetings and training sessions for new and/or changed regulations. Other duties as assigned (e.g. assist other units in the absence of their Supervisor, special projects for the IM Administrator or other Supervisors, etc.).
Qualifications:
Completion of a baccalaureate degree in business, behavioral science or social science, or related field required.
