Job Description:

Clark County Department of Job and Family Services (CCDJFS) is seeking a Program Administrator for the OhioMeansJobs division, which administers Workforce Development Programs funded through the Department of Labor, TANF and other related programs. This position is part of the Agency Executive Leadership Team and reports directly to the Director of Job & Family Services. CCDJFS is a quadruple-combined agency. Other divisions within the Agency administer public assistance, child support enforcement, and family and children services.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must be a strong visionary leader with excellent follow through, ability to plan, organize and prioritize. He or she must be highly resourceful, creative and self-motivated, while being a strong, enthusiastic, persuasive advocate and leader who is able to motivate individuals to achieve results. The candidate will have demonstrated ability to develop programs and build strong collaborative partnerships. He or she must have a strong service mentality; be a team player, a hands-on manager with integrity and a desire to work in a dynamic, customer-focused environment. He or she must be a good listener with the ability to provide current, direct and actionable feedback to others, with a commitment to developing a strong team. The candidate must be able to maintain positive relations with a variety of constituents including customers, staff, the business community, government agencies, courts and law enforcement officials. He or she must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills. This position oversees all aspects of the delivery of the OhioMeansJobs Center and related programs.

The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred,) plus a minimum of ten years of demonstrated experience at a key administrative level with significant supervisory experience; demonstrated experience in data analysis and demonstrated program implementation. CCDJFS offers a comprehensive benefits package, which includes a competitive salary, health and dental insurance and Public Employees Retirement System. Yearly salary range for this position is $65,852-$92,185, dependent upon experience and education.
