JOB DESCRIPTION:

Develop, maintain, and update content for Agency marketing materials. Manage and maintain Agency website and utilize current SEO best practices. Maintain, monitor, and grow social media presence across all relevant platforms and implement targeted content strategies for our Agency and the Employers we serve. Monitor and prepare reports to measure performance; identify trends and provide relevant insights. Consult with Administrators to implement creative practices to increase positive customer reviews, both internally and externally. Create and present at trainings on implementation and execution of digital marketing strategies. Implement and manage other advertising and marketing avenues like email marketing, text messaging, billboards, videography, hiring events, radio/television ads, Apple/Android App, etc. Assist with the development of marketing and advertising budgets, and assist with third-party vendors and advertising agencies as necessary. Represent the agency at community events and external partner agencies. Attend meetings and training sessions at the State and local levels to stay informed of new methods, regulations, and policies. Other duties as assigned (i.e., assisting administrators and supervisors in compiling information; completion of special projects, training, and meetings; etc.). Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of the position.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY TO: • Knowledge of Social Media; Public Relations; Creative and/or Graphic Design; SEO Best Practices; Budgeting • Ability to perform under tight deadlines; interpret a variety of complex instructions and apply practical solutions to daily challenges; use proper research methods in gathering data; define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; gather, collate, and classify information about data people or things; handle routine and sensitive contacts with news media, general public, special interest groups, government representatives, and customers; prepare and deliver speeches before specialized audiences and general public; write and/or edit publications; work alone and as part of a team on projects

SALARY AND BENEFITS: • $45,000-$65,000 per year depending on experience and education • Monday - Friday (37.5 hours per week) 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. • 12 paid holidays • Vacation time • State retirement system • Work/Life Balance • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance • Work 7.5 hours a day PLUS PAID LUNCH 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook; intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel required • Two or more years of experience in public relations, communications, and/or marketing; public-sector marketing preferred • One or more years of experience with Google Analytics; Website management with knowledge in WordPress required; Canva, Wave.Video, Adobe Creative Suite programs • Proficient at implementing social media ad campaigns such as geo-fencing on all platforms with the expectation of following brand guidelines and social media policies • Knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Meta Business Suite, Google My Business, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc. required • Completion of a baccalaureate degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.
