General Session & Awards Luncheon

The first general membership meeting of the year will be held Friday, March 11, 2022 at Nationwide Hotel & Conference Center (100 Green Meadows Drive South, Lewis Center, Ohio 43035) starting at 9:30AM. During the luncheon following the meeting, we will be honoring the recipient of the 2021 Outstanding CDJFS Director of the Year award.

IN-PERSON + VIRTUAL REGISTRATION REQUIRED

To ensure an accurate count for the meeting room setup and lunch, all in-person and virtual registrations must be submitted online no later than Friday, February 25th.

For those who wish to participate virtually, the membership meeting will be streamed live from 9:30AM-12:15PM via Zoom but will not be recorded. Each additional registrant beyond the director/proxy registration – whether in-person or virtual – will be charged a $50 fee.


OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS + PARKING

A room block is available at Nationwide for those preferring to travel to Columbus Thursday evening at the rate of $129/night plus applicable taxes with check-in starting at 3:00PM.

Reservations can be made directly with the hotel online or by calling (614) 880-4300 using Group Code 280324. To have the Association make a reservation on your behalf, please email me with your arrival and departure dates as well as any special requests. The cutoff date to reserve a room in the Association’s room block is Monday, February 14th.

Parking is free in any lot on the premises.

PROVIDED MEALS

A continental breakfast and buffet lunch will be provided on Friday, March 11th. Those arriving on Thursday, March 10th will be on their own for dinner.

OBSERVING VENUE GUIDELINES

With the continued presence of COVID, OJFSDA will comply with all policies and procedures in place at the venue at the time of the event. Currently, masks are not required for fully vaccinated guests, though they are still required for venue employees and anyone not fully vaccinated or experiencing cold or allergy symptoms. Masks will be available at the registration desk for those who want or need them.
