POSITION SUMMARY:

The Executive Director, reporting directly to the Summit County Children Services (SCCS) Board of Trustees (Board) is an unclassified position and is responsible to oversee the general operations of SCCS consistent with the SCCS Mission & Vision statements, the SCCS strategic plan, SCCS goals and objectives, and annual budgets. The general operations of the Agency include but are not limited to the following divisions: Administrative & Legal Services, Fiscal Services, Human Resources & Support Services, and Social Services.

The Executive Director is responsible for a $62 million annual operating budget inclusive of a 3.25 mill levy which supports 61% of the agency’s budget.

The Executive Director is responsible for cultivating and maintaining positive/collaborative relationships with funding sources and community partners and serves as the spokesperson for the Agency on all matters. The Executive Director leverages the power of relationships and networks to address the issues affecting vulnerable children in the community.
