Outstanding Director of the Year Nominations Open!
OJFSDA Outstanding Director of the Year nominations are officially open! Please see the note below from Association President Tammy Osborne-Smith:
Given the many daily challenges we face and the unique obstacles we continue to meet and overcome, it is important to take time to acknowledge and honor outstanding achievements in our profession. With this in mind, I encourage you to take some time to nominate your peers for the 2024 Outstanding CDJFS Director of the Year. This yearly tradition is a chance for us to recognize one of our own and highlight the professional qualities and achievements of an exceptional director.
All nominations must be submitted by at least one current CDJFS Director, though staff members may contribute to the nomination narrative with supporting statements. Those currently serving in an elected officer position are not eligible for nomination. Detailed instructions regarding the nomination process are available here. The Selection Committee, comprised of the OJFSDA Elected Officers and previous award winners still serving as Director, will review all nominations and select one nominee to receive the award.
Nominations must be submitted by October 31, 2024, to be considered. The award will be presented to the selected recipient during the annual recognition banquet Friday, December 13, 2024, at Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center following the General Session meeting.
