Annual Training Conference

Hyatt Regency Columbus

LOCATION & PARKING: The conference will be held on the first floor of the Hyatt Regency located at 350 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215. To review available parking options, click here(Please note: If you made your hotel reservation at the Hyatt Regency in OJFSDA's room block, parking for one (1) car per room per night at the Chestnut Street Garage is included in your room rate.)

REGISTRATION: When you arrive please check in at the registration desk, which will be clearly marked in the Nationwide Foyer and arranged in alphabetical order by last name. Early registration will be open Wednesday, May 8th from 4:00PM-6:00PM as well as during the conference Thursday, May 9th from 8:00AM-3:00PM and Friday, May 10th from 7:30AM-3:00PM.

CONFERENCE APP: To avoid bogging down the WiFi during the event, all attendees should download and access the app prior to their arrival. We will be relying heavily on the app during the conference and it is where you will access session materials prior to the event. You can download the app by searching R@H ConferenceBeat Event App in your app store and selecting OJFSDA 2019 Annual Training Conference. Refer to our app guide to make the most of your conference experience.

SESSION HANDOUTS: All available session handouts are provided by presenters and OJFSDA does not guarantee that every session will have materials available for download. If there are no handouts posted for a session, check back closer to the conference or the presenter may prefer to provide printed copies at the event. You will have access to session handouts through the conference app during the conference and three months after the event. (All materials are intended for use only by OJFSDA conference attendees. Other use or distribution is prohibited.)

EVALUATIONS: All attendees are highly encouraged to complete their in-app event and session evaluations. For each evaluation you complete, your name will be entered into a drawing to win two 2019 Single Day Admission Tickets courtesy of Kings Island. The more evaluations you submit, the higher your chances of winning!

FOOD & REFRESHMENTS: On Thursday, we will have coffee, tea and assorted cold beverages available in the morning and provide snacks and light refreshments in the afternoon. On Friday, we welcome you to join us for a continental breakfast. All attendees are responsible for their own lunches and we recommend using the hour and fifteen minute break to get a taste of Columbus by visiting local restaurants, but there is a food court on the first floor of the Hyatt.

RECOMMENDED ATTIRE: The dress code for both days of the conference is business casual. Though we do our best to maintain a comfortable temperature in all session rooms, we advise dressing in layers to ensure your personal comfort.
