Champaign County Eligibility Referral Specialist 2
Primary duties of this position are Case Management/Customer Service. The person in this position will determine initial and on-going eligibility for customers applying for public assistance and/or Medicaid. The employee will also process case changes, take and return phone calls and process alerts for public assistance and/or Medicaid cases.
1 year experience as an Eligibility Referral Specialist I, or one year of experience in behavioral science, social science, or customer service techniques, six months experience in business mathematics, business English, interviewing techniques and six months experience in typing, keyboarding or word processing, or-education, training and/or experience in an equal amount.
