JOB DESCRIPTION:
Clermont County is seeking candidates for the full-time, unclassified position of Director of the Department of Job and Family Services. This position is responsible for the administration of all programs and activities of the quadruple combined agency including Child Protective Services, Child Support Enforcement, Public Assistance, and Workforce Development. The Director is also responsible for activities associated with the county’s designation as Administrative/Fiscal Agent for Family and Children First and the Southwest Ohio Regional Training Center.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate must have an undergraduate degree in either business, public administration, human services, human resources, or finance. (Degree may be substituted with 10 years directly related experience in human services.) An MBA, MPA, or MSW is desirable. Candidates must also have five years of administrative/management experience, preferably in the human services field, including a significant supervisory role with subordinate staff and fiscal oversight in a business, government entity, or not-for-profit. Demonstrated leadership skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills are required. Knowledge of state and federal laws and rules governing Job and Family Services required.
