We're Looking Forward to Seeing You at Our 2022 Annual Training Conference!

Attending in person? Here's the Scoop.

We at OJFSDA are very much looking forward to hosting you for the first time in three years at our 2022 Annual Training Conference next week!

SO HERE'S THE SCOOP

VENUE & PARKING

The conference will be held at the Hyatt Regency Columbus (350 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215). For valet rates at the hotel where you will be staying as well as nearby garage rates, please refer to the Hotels & Parking tab on our website

Please note: If you made your hotel reservation at the Hyatt in OJFSDA's room block, complementary self-parking for one (1) car per guestroom per night at the Chestnut Street Garage is included in your room rate. If your room reservation is within any of the three hotel blocks and being managed by the Association, your valet/on-site parking will be directed to the master bill and invoiced to your agency after the event should you opt to use it.

EVENT REGISTRATION

When you arrive, the first thing to do will be to check in at the registration desks, arranged in alphabetical order by last name, in the Nationwide Foyer to receive your name badge program and conference swag bag.

To beat the rush, early registration will be available Tuesday from 4:00PM - 6:00PM as well as during the conference Wednesday from 7:30AM - 8:45AM and 11:00AM - 3:15PM (registration will close during the opening keynote from 9:00AM - 11:00AM) and Thursday from 7:15AM - 11:15AM.

CONFERENCE APP

To help ensure everyone's Wi-Fi connections are the best they can be, all attendees should download the app prior to their arrival. We will be relying heavily on the app and recommend exploring the platform now to acquaint yourself with its functionality and complete your personalized profile.

Within the app you will find most importantly the agenda (TIP: click the "My Schedule" tab for your registered for session schedule), session handouts, evaluations, and venue maps. We encourage you to log in and download available materials before your session if you prefer hard copies as you follow along.

EVALUATIONS

You are highly encouraged to provide your feedback by completing their in-app session and event evaluations. Session evaluations may be completed at the end of each session and the event evaluation should be completed after your time at the conference concludes. For extra incentive, each completed evaluation increases your odds of winning a mystery prize in the weeks following the conference (winner will be notified via email).

PROVIDED MEALS

On Wednesday, morning beverage service and an afternoon refreshment break, including snacks and a variety of hot and cold beverages, will be provided. Lunch is not provided and is on your own.

On Thursday, breakfast and morning beverage service will be provided. With the conference concluding at 12:45PM, no other meals or snacks will be provided.

RECOMMENDED ATTIRE

The dress code for both days of the conference is business casual. Though we do our best to maintain a comfortable temperature in all session rooms, we advise dressing in layers to best achieve your personal comfort.
